How to Watch, What Happened, and What to Expect From Star Wars Celebration Anaheim

How to Watch, What Happened, and What to Expect From Star Wars Celebration Anaheim ...

Has anyone experienced this change? Star Wars Celebration Anaheim is a star-packed convention organized by California State University, where artists from across the country are expected to include an extensive number of announcements.

If you like Star Wars, Celebration Anaheim runs from Thursday, May 26, to Sunday, May 29, and there are still some tickets left to get involved.

Fans may get autographs and photographs from stars such as Anthony Daniels, The Mandalorians Katee Sackhoff and Carl Weathers, The Book of Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison and The Last Jedis Kelly Marie Tran. Unfortunately, for those who have been dissatisfied with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Ewan McGregor has sold out ahead of the Disney Plus premiere on the second day of Celebration Anaheim.

This convention will not focus on an upcoming movie, unlike the last few Celebrations. Instead, it will focus on the upcoming Disney Plus series; we got our first look atAndor (the prequel to Rogue One), as well as some further details about Season 3, and most likely catch a glimpse of The Bad Batchs'' second season.

CNET is recording live from the show floor, capturing panel discussions and reunions, and enjoying the creative cosplay. If you can''t make it to Anaheim or simply want to plan your convention out, then here''s a look at the major highlights, so you can know when to look out for news dropping online.

The first trailer and a release date for Andor, as well as a coming-of-age show Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, were announced.

Everyone at the Light & Magic panel was likely a bit sleepy after getting up early (or staying up late) to watch the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi. A six-part documentary about Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm''s special effects division, is now available on July 27.

Back in 2002, Count Dooku and Yoda demonstrated their CGI dueling skills.

Remember how rewarding it was to see Yoda use a lightsaber for the first time? It was two decades ago (dont feel old; its fine, it''s fine) and the Attack of the Clones 20th Anniversary Celebrationcommemorated the second film in the George Lucas prequel trilogy.

Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen sang on a surprise appearance on a panel of co-stars, including Anthony Daniels, Temeura Morrison, and Daniel Logan, along with artist Doug Chiang, visual effects supervisor John Knoll, and sound editor Matthew Wood.

The Hasbro Star Wars Paneloffered looks at upcoming waves of 3.75-inch figures and the highly detailed 6-inch Black Series, including Obi-Wan Kenobi''s villainous villains.

Our main event is Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to 2019''s Fallen Order, and the release of animated series Young Jedi Adventures, which is set during the High Republic era.

Saturday, May 28

The first major panel for Mando+: A Conversation with Jon Favreau and Dave Filonibrought us a long-distance trailer for Season 3, which suggests repurposing characters and a trip to the ruined Mandalore.

A surprise trailer for the Ahsoka Tano project was released, along with confirmation that the Ghost crew from CGI animated series Rebels would be brought to life-action. Natasha Liu Bordizzo was identified as the actor playing Sabine Wren.

Celebration Anaheim will likely reveal when Grogu will return to Disney Plus.

In an afternoon panel, a new animated show was unveiled: Tales of the Jedi is a CGI animated series of shorts. Its about Ahsoka and Count Dooku in their earliest days.

At the Marvel Star Wars panel, C.B. Cebulski, the editor-in-chief, spoke with a number of writers and artists about the future story stories and the introduction of a new Yoda series.

Were weary of a look at Season 2 of The Bad Batch, but Celebration Anaheim should give us what we need.

Sunday, May 29

The final day of the convention will spotlight Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 (11 a.m. PT) and the crew behind the CGI animated Clone Wars spinoff will almost certainly give us a trailer for the second season and a Disney Plus premiere date.

A Look Back at Star Wars: Visions (12:30 p.m. PT) will dive into the previous years anime-inspired anthology series. It''s possible this panel will reveal that this show will return for further episodes.

Where can I see the Anaheim panels from Star Wars Celebration?

If you cannot get to the show, you will be able to stream the big panels and interviews from the official Star Wars YouTube channel and on Weve also included the stream above.
