In 4K images, Thor 4 gives the best look yet at Christian Bale ...

Thor: Love and Thunder, a popular film, has finally begun before of its August 8 release. In theanticipated second trailer, fans were amazed by new footage fromThor 4''sexpansivecast, including Russell Crowe''s ZeusandNatalie Portman, as Mighty Thoras, and the first look at Christian Bale''s villainous Gorr the God Butcher.

Fans speculated whether Marvel Studios would show Bale''s supervillain at any time before the film''s release. However, Gorr was seen multiple times in the recenttwo-minute and fifteen-second trailer, which he has already been considered among the most anticipated summer movie antagonists.

Fans of this new footage have received great speculation and inquiry, especially in terms of his design and how he compares to his comic book persona. Now, fans are getting an even better look at Christian Bale''s Thor 4 baddie and his big-screen costume.

Christian Bale''''s Gorr the God Butcher in 4K

Following Thor''s recent release, new 4K-enhanced photos now reveal Gorr the God Butcher''s best picture on his MCU debut.

Gorr''s weapon will be All-Black the Necrosword, as was the case in the comics. This is particularly interesting given that the All-Black was technically the first symbiote.

Gorr is seen in this black and white space using the Necrosword, giving him an idea of his movements and the look of his white robe and cape in the action.

Gorr is about to enter the crumbling, barren landscape in the next shot.

Bale''s Gorr''s color is identical to that of the comics, but it''s worth noting that the MCU''s Gorr is more humanoid in his appearance. It''s also noteworthy that Marvel Studios is going for a more monochromatic appearance in his costume, featuring his white robes.

Even if viewers haven''t seen much, the villain''s black, symbiotic tendrils, Gorr''s Love and Thunder Funko Pop! have emphasized the presence of this element.

The trailer depicts a planet, which is supposedly being destroyed by the light waves of a central source after Gorr the God Butcher drives his sword into the ground.

Gorr''s duel with Tessa Thompson''s Valkyrie, where she appears to be mimicking Zeus''bolts of lightning, is the final scene.

Why should Gorr the God Butcher Look Different?

The villains (apart from Loki) weren''t necessarily on par with the God of Thunder in Thor''s original Thor and Thor: The Dark World. In fact, Thor is rather an obstacle to himself than some of his previous villains.

Thor''s personal difficulties were dealt with in Ragnaroksince Hela was Thor''s sister and he could''t destroy her in his own might, but the focus of this three film was on Thor''s personal difficulties.

In Love and Thunder, however, the same does not appear to be true.

Both trailers have established that Thor will embark on another journey of self-discovery, but Gorr (apart from Thanos) is likely to be one of his most powerful and unsettling villains yet.

Although Gorr''s overall structure is quite different from the comics, it still appears to be in line with the character''s original essence; having Bale maintain a human appearance accomplishes two important things.

First of all, there''s more gravity to a human villain than that of an alien or a creature. Thor has battled elves and mythological monsters, but it only hits differently when it''s a person. And, the fact that Gorr''s lookis somute and simplistic will only make his abilities with the Necrosword stand out and contrast with Thor''sbold outfits and color palette.

Second, since Marvelhired Christian Bale, the studio intends to demand that the audience know his Christian Bale.

Given that the film''s promotional campaign has just begun, viewers are sure to see more of Gorr in the film''s upcoming trailers and teasers. However, given what has been shown so far and the fan level of anticipation, Marvel may do not need to.

Thor: Love and Thunderpremieres are in theaters on July 8.
