After a weekend filled with what one might easily call Kenobi-mania, the OG Star Wars show The Mandalorian woke up on Saturday morning and chose to dominate Star Wars Celebration. Fact: Favreau and Filoni have no idea how many seats they need, but this panel will certainly wake them up. It''s unlikely that the game will be brought up for Season 3.
We got a reply to the question, and we at least know the month. While a date has not been disclosed for the Mandalorians'' return, we know that Season 3 will be released in February 2023. That means we have to wait a bit, and the panelists at Celebration were fairly confident.
The Mandalorian executive producer, Rick Famuyiwa, who helmed seasons in Seasons 1 and 2, and is returning for three, has yet to learn anything. For some reason, Jon [Favreau] said, "That''s Star Wars material."
As Bo-Katan Kryze dodges the question in Season 3, his head is still attached to my body, which he believes is beneficial.
Season 3 of the Star Wars Celebration teaser was limited, but this time, the trailer was shorter, with a lot of new footage, including shots of the Armorer (Emily Swallow) clocking an alien with a tool, a broken down Star Destroyer, and Babu Frik (and other babu friks!!). Oh, and the final shot of the extended teaser was a wide-ranging overhead shot of Mandalore.
Besides that, we got to see Ahsoka footage, which you can learn more about here. Keep an eye on the Star Wars Celebration tag for everything Star Wars all weekend long.
