Next-Gen Dreams For Grand Theft Auto 6

It seems like a no-brainer that GTA 6 will be a future-gen release that can only be played on PS5, Xbox Series X, and eventually, PC and streaming services. But even with that most basic information, everything must be treated with a large pinch of salt. This week, it is still worth checking for those who want to know the latest.

A recent employee profile for Rockstar Games has found some intriguing new details. This includes a look at the information listed, which says: Responsible for cinematography and narrative design flow for immersive, seamless transitions from cinematics to in-game, and cinematic transitions for cutscenes and interactive scenarios.

#GTAOnline is getting something new for a change in in about two weeks.

Fans have expressed hope that GTA 6 will continue to make smoother transitions between cutscenes and gameplay, with the added bonus that it will be at greater graphical fidelity.

RDR2 had a good animation, but you might easily tell when one animation ends and another starts. Motion matching would make transitions really seamless. For Honor uses it also but it is a multiplayer game.

Although a new Grand Theft Auto game has been announced as being in constant development, Rockstar Games has not shared much information about what the new title will be like. However, there is still no information about the outcome, nor how much fans expect when it comes to the story.

Another reason that this LinkedIn post has been given greater attention is that it lists the name of the next Grand Theft Auto game as GTA 6, with Rockstar only providing this snippet of information officially: With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly surpass what we have previously delivered, and we are happy to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway.
