Telegram may alter its free tagline to indicate the arrival of a premium service and proposes codes ...

The Telegram Premium subscription plan might be on the way soon, and the subscription is expected to allow users to get access to premium stickers and exclusive reaction emojis. However, this may be the case soon. A code for a upcoming version of the Telegram app has been spotted online, dropping the free slogan. The new strings indicate that the company is experimenting another way for the app to generate revenue.

The new tagline isn''t currently active on the messaging app. It will probably only be activated once the premium subscription has been officially announced.

Telegram''s 8.7.2 beta was launched for iOS with new reaction emojis and stickers. These are said to be premium features only for Telegram Premium users. When viewing reactions or stickers on the instant messaging app, all users will reportedly receive a notification asking if they wish to sign up for the Telegram Premium subscription plan. However, the company hasn''t disclosed much information about the pricing and the exact availability of the Telegram Premium service.

In April this year, the company added several new features to the app, including custom notification tones, setting custom durations for muting chats or auto-deleting messages, and improved forwarding that preserves replies. It also added a new picture-in-picture mode for Android users, while message translation improved on iOS.
