Oppo F17 and A73 are receiving a 12-based ColorOS update ...

Both Oppo F17 and Oppo A73 have begun receiving the official ColorOS 12 update. Despite the fact that Android 12 is currently being introduced in India and Vietnam, users are required to submit an application if they want to receive the ColorOS 12 update during the initial rollout phase.

ColorOS 12 for the Oppo F17 in India has been announced by Oppo in a community news post. The company also separately announced the same for the Oppo A73 in Vietnam.

The smartphone manufacturer has stated that certain points to be noted before upgrading the phones, including preparing a backup before updating, in order to avoid data loss caused by unexpected circumstances.

Depending on the size of your Oppo phone, you may select the official colorOS 12 version by going to Settings, About the phone, or downloading the software update, to detect the colorOS 12 version and use the Trial version.

The eligible users are encouraged to make sure that their device is compatible with the latest version of ColorOS.

In April, the Oppo F17 and the Oppo A73 had received the ColorOS12 beta version, based on Android 12.

In September 2020, the Oppo F17 made its debut in India, while the Oppo A73 was launched in October 2020 in Tunisia. The phone was quite similar to the F17 model.
