One of the most dangerous rumors aboutSpider-Man: No Way Home is that Charlie Cox will appear somewhere in the film as Daredevil. Cox, of course, has played for three seasons of the NetflixsDaredevil series and one season of The Defenders.
Then all of the Netflix series came to an end as Marvel expanded its TV production under Kevin Feigeand started making a television series for Disney+. Eventually, it became apparent that Marvel had restoredDaredevil and the rest of Marvel Netflix out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There are still plenty of speculation about the return of some of these characters. Vincent DOnofrios Kingpin is pointing out onHawkeye. And then theres all this talk about Cox inSpider-Man.Some fans speculated he might stick with his role as Daredevil, even if Netflix''s MCU is kaput. But he basically confirmed that Cox will return as the character. Here''s how to describe it.
If you were to see Daredevil in future things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.
Feige then translates everything with anif, which implies that it might happen or it might not. But then he says where and how and when remains to be seen, implying that while he wont say exactly what will happen, he likely does have Cox in for a return as Daredevil, either inNo Way Home or in something other.
If Kingpin is inHawkeye (and while I have no inside information, I strongly suspect he is for all of the reasons explained in some of the shows on the show), then that opens the door for all of those Marvel Netflix characters to return. So if DOnofrio shows up in the next couple of weeks, I think it''s only a matter of time before Charlie Cox starts chasing him around Hells Kitchen again.
On December 17, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters.
