Sharon Osbournes daughter Aimee is lucky to be alive following a terrible studio fire ...

Sharon Osbourne revealed her daughter Aimee Osbourne was fortunate to be alive following escaping a fire at a Hollywood studio Thursday night, killing one person and leaving two people injured.

It''s absolutely heartbreaking that someone lost their lives today in this fire, and we are sending our condolences to this individual and their family. What happened today was beyond horrifying.

The former host of The Talk used the tragedy to campaign for improved fire safety regulations in California and beyond.

The building in Hollywood provided a creative hub for music, but the space should have been regulated for fire codes. Sharon, 69, said, also lost all of their equipment. Once more, our prayers go out to the family and friends of the person who died in the tragic fire.

As of Friday morning, neither Aimee, 38, nor Sharons husband, Ozzy Osbourne, had publicly commented on the fire.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon''s former colleague at The Talk, spoke on the comments page to express her concern for Aimee and the deceased''s families.

Glad that Aimee and her producer are safe, but my heart is hurt for the person who lost their life and their family and loved ones, writes Inaba, 54. How distressing it must have been for all of themPrayers for you..

Sharon''s mother, 73-year-old Ozzys, has three children together. She famously did not appear on their MTV reality show, The Osbournes.
