Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Postponing Made The Game's Publisher Bankrupt
Polish publisher of Cyberpunk 2077 filed for bankruptcy, and CDP faced difficulties after the game's release was postponed to September.
CDP management allegedly did not know about the transfer and spent money on advertising, which turned out to be irrelevant. As a result, the publisher had to lay off employees EN masse, writes the Polish portal GRY Online.
On April 21, the court granted CDP's application and transferred the company's assets to temporary observers. After all the changes, the publisher of Cyberpunk 2077 in Poland became a distributor of Cenega.
Cyberpunk 2077 is due to be released on September 17, but the release had to be postponed due to the remote mode of work of employees of the CD Projekt Studio, which is engaged in creating the game. The project from the creators of "the Witcher" will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
