Queen Elizabeth II awarded her special damehood for a loved campaigner. The You, Me, and The Big C podcast host, also known as Bowelbabe on Instagram, took to her stories and revealed she was ablown away and hurt by the honour.a The recognition recognizes the dedication she has made to increase awareness of bowel cancer since she was diagnosed in 2016.

Damehoods and knighthoods may be given out during certain times in special circumstances, according to Jamesa damehood, who has had active treatment for her terminal bowel cancer, and has relocated to her parentsa house in the last week alone. Yet, James has raised over A4 million for cancer charities through her Bowelbabe Fund initiative.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that "if ever an honour was well-deserved" Deborah has been an inspiration, and her honesty, warmth, and courage have fueled the country''s gratitude. She also has the countryas admiration and gratitude.

James was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer five years ago. She has made it her mission to educate people about bowel cancer symptoms. She has actively encouraged people to not feel embarrassed when talking about bowel issues, and to go to their doctor if they detect any symptoms.
