After looking at the context of the conversation, Newsweek reportedly obtained the whole unexed audio from the call and disproved claims that Heard was intended to frame Depp.
According to the website, the audio tapes were recorded between 2015 and 2016. It was when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard planned to split.
According to reports, the recording involves tense and emotional conversation between the former couple. They debated whether their divorce should be made public and whether legal action should be taken.

According to Newsweek, the resurrected tape was part of a larger, 31-minute recorded audio chat between Depp and Heard in May 2016.
HatCHeTHaZ, a YouTuber, republished the clip shortly after the caption was deleted from Instagram. It remains to be seen if the trial against Johnny Depp and Amber Heard resumes on May 16, and the evidence will be brought up in court.
