In Thor: Love and Thunder, Christian Bale reportedly appears to be doing something "terrifying." ...

Chris Hemsworth''s titular Asgardian will be brought back for another adventure, but it appears that Christian Bale''s Gorr the God Butcher will not be featured in any official footage. However, the unveiled concept art of the character has teased an updated live-action look. While Gorr is likely to duke it out against Thor and his friends, it is still unknown how powerful the villain will be in Love and Thunder.

According to the official synopsis of Love and Thunder, Gorr''s aim will be to [to] the gods, meaning that he will do everything in his power to eradicate them once and for all. This has cause havoc for Thor, but also for Zeus from Russell Crowe.

As the film''s release draws closer, a new rumor has teased what Gorr will look like in the final version of the film.

As Gorr Teased, Christian Bale''s ''Terrifying'' Look Begins

During the most recent episode of the John Campea Show, filmmaker John Campea and several guests shared new details about Christian Bale''s upcoming MCU debut as Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Robert Meyer Burnett stated that he and Campea had seen footage of Bale''s Gorr. Campea described the MCU villain as "straight-up freaky" and said, "it''s a thing right out of nightmares." Erin Cummings also said, "it''s absolutely horrifying."

"And you and I have seen Gorr pictures," Robert Meyer Burnett said.

"Oh yeah, we got a video of Gorr! We are not sharing with anyone because I had never encountered Christian Bale before. "Oh my god, when you see him as Gorr, oh my god... because what we saw was straight up freaky, it''s a thing out of nightmares."

"Yes, I saw the photo, I''ve had everything from every night, so far," Erin Cummings says. It''s absolutely horrifying.

Christian Bale''''s Scary MCUDebut

Gorr the God Butcher is a dangerous villain in Marvel Comics, but this latest rumor suggests that Christian Bale''s portrayal will likely surpass his counterpart from the comics.

Taika Waititi, who plays Thor: Love and Thunder, previously claimed that they "have probably the best villain that Marvels ever had in Christian Bale." On top of Campea''s claims, keeping such high respect for the actor''s portrayal should increase expectations for his Marvel debut.

Gorr''s designs include tentacles that appear to be similar to Venom''s symbiote, and it''s safe to assume that he will also have his iconic weapon, the Necrosword. Along with these weapons, having a terrifying design should be more than enough to intimidate the gods he is targeting while also expressing fear in fans around the world.

While the exact plot details of Love and Thunder are still a mystery, it''s safe to say that the film will have a formidable villain who might serve as Thor''s biggest challenge yet.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on July 8th.
