The draft judgment by the Supreme Court that would overturn Roe vs. Wade has sparked protest in several areas around the United States. Pro-choice activists have sparked protest in the United States. They are now taking the case directly to the home of one anti-abortion justice.
A group of demonstrators travelled to Falls Church, Virginia, to discuss their points. Dressed as characters from The Handmaids Tale, they descended upon Justice Amy Coney Barrett''s home. The goal was to convey their fears about Roe''s historic abortion safeguards.
One protester said Justice Barrett was allowing her religion to dispel her beliefs about abortion. Amy Coney Barrett gave birth to five children from other women. The protesters signed a statement expressing their views.
Not everybody wants to have 5 children, either 4 kids, or one kid.
The Supreme Court has not officially announced that it would overturn Roe vs. Wade. A subsequent draft that has circulated among those in the know indicates that the leaked draft will look a lot like the final decision. Many are still considering whether or not the Supreme Court will change its mind.
Next month, an official judgment will be announced. Several states already have laws ready to go that would severely restrict access to abortion. Time will tell what the ultimate snowball effect will be if Roe vs. Wade is overturned.
