Vince Staples Dream-Like When Sparks Fly Video Depicts A Dangerous Love Affair ...

Vince Staples announced the premiere of a new visual project, Ramona Park Broke My Heart: The Musical, and streaming performances from his new album this week via Moment House. Despite the streams, Vince is sharing snippets for his fans in the form of music videos showing his live performances. The first is When Sparks Fly, the standout from Ramona Park Broke My Heart, which recounts a horrified relationship between a boy and his gun.

Vince is seen on a bus stop bench in front of a flower shop, laying his head in the lap of a woman for the duration of the video, while the cameras capture them from various angles. Then, Vince is rapping the tragic romance of When Sparks Fly, which he described from the perspective of the gun. I think the perpetrators will see the money in the violence, he said during an interview with Peter Rosenberg.

During the live broadcast, Vince performed his whole new album, including Magic! and Rose Street, as well as tracks from across his catalogue.
