According to CNBC, over 150,000 Ukrainians are connected to the internet daily, thanks to SpaceX''s internet services. The number is based on valuable data, which Ukraine''s Digital Minister reveals in a tweet.

Fedorov had reached out to Elon Musk after the Russian invasion, seeking his help to establish satellite internet services in the region. It took Musk and SpaceX about ten hours to respond and activate the internet services in the region, where they hadn''t started its commercial operations yet.
How Ukraine got its Starlink terminals
While SpaceX had satellites in place to offer the service, only a limited number of people had purchased the equipment (dish terminals) required to connect with these satellites. Ukraine was in desperate need of Starlink terminals, and assistance poured in from all sides.
Throughout the conflict, the terminals have not only helped Ukrainians stay connected to the world, but also assisted patients in hospital receive better treatment. According to a recent NBC News report, more than 10,000 Starlink terminals are now operating in Ukraine. TheUnited States Agency for International Development (USAID) obtained 1,333 terminals, while 5,000 terminals were provided by several stakeholders.
A terminal serving scores of customers
According to SpaceX''s recent report, its Starlink service has around 250,000 subscribers worldwide, including individual and enterprise customers. So, the figures coming out of Ukraine might indicate that most users of the service are currently located in Ukraine. Considering that Starlink''s services in Ukraine are currently free, concerns about the service''s coverage and its long-term economic viability might surface.
It is important to note that the daily active user count is different from the subscriber number. A Starlink dish terminal is also equipped with a wireless router that allows multiple users to connect to the internet. While this might not be true in Ukraine, it gives us a valid example of how 150,000 users are connected every day to the internet using Starlink''s satellite internet services.
