Pusha T celebrated this Sunday evening as his latest album, Its Almost Dry, earned the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Over the video of Let The Smokers Shine The Coupes, the 44-year-old posted a moving graphic displaying the albums accomplishments with a variety of photos in the background. Pusha also congratulated and honored executive producers Pharrell and Kanye West, manager Steven Victor and his crew, Tunji Balogun, and the entire Def Jam label. His performances included artists such as Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, and others who played a part in his fourth solo album. Pusha also congratulated and praised his wife Virginia Thornton, son Nigel Brixx Thornton, and paid homage to his late parents.

This is the first No. 1 album for the Virginia rappers after over twenty years in the game, starting as one half of Clipse alongside Malice (formerly known as No Malice, also featured on Its Almost Dry) before going solo. 55,000 album units, 45,500 of which are streaming equivalent album units, have been sold.

Before Its Almost Dry, his 2018 EP Daytona was nominated for a Grammy nomination, and Pusha was also featured on Wests Mercy, nominated for Best Rap Song in 2013.
