The Daryl and Carol show in The Walking Dead will now be the Daryl show.
Melissa McBride will not compete in an extended TWD spinoff series with Norman Reedus earlier this week. The move to Europe was logistically unfavorable for Melissa, according to a spokesperson for AMC. However, the Walking Dead Universe continues to expand and expand in interesting ways, and we hope to see Carol again in the near future.
Fans were dissatisfied with the news, and some others expressed their displeasure for Reedus.
Norm, who has given you everything you need to do is ''blatant.'' Against him, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan on The Walking Dead (and a prematurely revealed spinoff with Lauren Cohan), tweeted. Melissa made a call that was hers alone. She wants/needs a break. Respect that. Factors involved that are nobodys business. Norm, who has given more than anyone. Just SH*TTY.
Norman continued that his choice of location was nothing more about story and imagination. MONEY. That''s studio/network. Not actors. We can say yes and do, or no, and not do MAYBE. SOMETIMES. If were lucky and did not have a contract yet. Rarely does actor.
At least no one was attempting to bite him again (probably).
Some of you have gone WAY too far. TOXIC. Specifically, Melissa made a call that was hers alone. She wants/needs a break. Respect that. Factors involved that are no business. Norm, who has given more than anyone to you all. Just SHITTY.
