has acquired worldwide rights to YA romance, starring (Unpregnant), (6 Underground), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Rob Delaney (Catastrophe), Dexter Fletcher (Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels) and Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones' Diary).

The film from Jennifer E. Smith, the director of PBS' Little Women, and the producers of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before, is based on a similar name. It shows strangers Hadley (Richardson) and Oliver (Hardy) beginning to fall for each other when they land. But is it misfortune or fate that separates them when they land? Katie Lovejoy (To All the Boys: Always and Forever) developed the screenplay, with Matt Kaplan, who is now available via ACE Entertainment, and Max Siemers, Matthew Janzen, and Aubrey Bendix are responsible for the project.

The Statistical Probability film was developed by ACE, which locked in the adaptation rights to the novel, then financing and producing the feature. It continues a successful partnership between Netflix and the producer, which produced not only all three films in the To All the Boys series, but also the streamer's upcoming YA feature Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between.

Lionsgate International was responsible for selling the project.
