EXCLUSIVE: Cupid, a rom-com musical podcast, will star (Luis Miguel: The Series), (I Wanna Dance with Somebody).
Katy Cavanagh-Jupe's production is being staged and directed. The seven-episode piece will feature original music from the lead cast.
Cavanagh-Jupe's production company, Double Garage Films, and Boneta's production company, Three Amigos, are also producing.
Cupid is held liable after Aphrodite's love potion disappears on Earth. Zeus takes him on seven days to find and return the love potion. With assistance from a boy on a scooter and a nearby florist called Rose, Cupid discovers and restores the stolen potion safely to Olympus.
Following last year's Electric Easy, the pod represents QCode's second series to feature original music.
Katy Cavanagh-Jupe, an English actress and writer, has worked in theater, film, television, and radio drama in the United Kingdom. Cupid makes her directorial debut.
Working with this enormous cast and the extremely supportive QCODE team has been a wild journey, said Cavanagh-Jupe. Beyond its impressive characters, growing world, and ambitious musical numbers, Cupid is a deeply relatable story about life and finding something or someone you want to die for.
