and have reached a settlement granting the studio's feature films a free, ad-supported program after they play on Starz.

The multi-year output agreement includes theatrical releases starting this year.

The Roku Channel will have two windows for the Lionsgate titles under the deal, the first of which will follow their exclusive Starz stints, and the second one will be non-exclusive.

The Roku Channel has remained extended by a massive array of original episodic and film titles. Roku has surpassed 60 million active accounts, including more than 275 live, linear channels, and 80,000-plus on-demand film and episodic offerings. As of the end of 2021, it was reaching households with 80 million people.

Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black star in the new production range from John Wick, who is directed by Eli Roth. This month's film includes The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, as well as the John Wick action series.

This agreement demonstrates the widespread desire for first-run studio movies across a wide spectrum of platforms, said Jim Packer, president of worldwide television distribution at Lionsgate. This partnership with The Roku Channel demonstrates our ability to capitalize on today's complex television landscape with a multifaceted, layered approach that meets everyone's needs.

Roku's chief programming officer says the deal expands on an existing business relationship between the companies. This innovative approach increases value for both parties, he adds, "and, most importantly, provides the millions of streamers on The Roku Channel the opportunity to enjoy these compelling titles via this unique window."
