The co-founder and former CEO took on the social media platform he used to run to offer his vision of the subject, which he described as the "closest thing we need to know about the world."
The CEO of the Block started his thread on Monday night, saying, "Everything In Its Right Place" that his love for Twitter is all that matters to him, and I will do everything possible to keep both." "Twitter as a company has always been my sole issue and my greatest regret."
Dorsey, who is planning a contract when the transaction finishes, then diagnosed Twitter's previous and present problems, stating that the company was respecting the ad strategy and Wall Street. "It's the correct first step."
"I don't believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. However, Elon is the singular solution I trust.," Dorsey writes.
In his Twitter statement, Dorsey described himself as a 1/8h hippie. "I trust [Musk's] mission to give the light of conscience."
Elon said that he wanted to create a platform that is "maximally trusted and broadly inclusive" and why I chose him. This is also [Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal's] goal and why I chose him. Thank you both for making the company out of an impossible situation. This is the right path...I believe it with my heart."
Dorsey declared, "I'm so pleased that Twitter will continue to serve the public discussion." Around the world, and in the stars!"
In November 2021, Dorsey, who co-founded Twitter in 2006, alongside Evan Williams, Biz Stone, and Noah Glass, resigned as CEO of the company.
