The most recent Johnny Depp trial has been potentially deadly. This is the troubled actor's second attempt at a defamation lawsuit, this time against ex-wife Amber Heard. Despite Depp's fans, he has his critics. Howard Stern is among the stars who are not impressed with his performance.
Stern's complaints were based on the fact that the trial is. But the SiriusXM host had a theory for that.
"I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist and what I mean by that is," Stern said. "I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist and they can talk their way out of anything," he said. "I think Johnny Depp will put this on TV and because I'm so persuasive and because I'm so smart, I'm such a great guy."
Stern started playing clips, which caused him to label bull. If he isnt acting, I mean, hes so over-acting, Stern said. [I]mm know, hes wrong. He shouldnt be putting this on television in any way.
Robin Quivers, a long-time co-host, claims that Depp is "trying to save his career," adding, "I don't believe this is going to help."
There's a bleak problem with Stern's theory: Depp wasn't responsible for television cameras being present at the trial. Judge Penney Azcarate allowed their presence at the protest of Heard's legal team. It appears to however, that Depp's team tries to stop them.
