A third movie has been teased today. The first two films, which featured Tom Hardy as the Marvel spider-antihero, have totaled $1.4 billion at the global box office this year. Plus, the briefest of teases was the pic's logo in a closing sizzle reel.

The last film,, was launched in October, and was the second-best opening of the pandemic, the second highest ever in October, with $90 million stateside. All this was before Sony's own Spider-Man: No Way Home made its second largest debut ever in the United States/Canada, with $260.1 million. Venom: Let There Be Carnage totaled $213.55 million, and $502 million worldwide.
