'Super Mario Bros': A Nintendo film about april 2023 marks the end of the film ...

The Nintendo film Super Bros, which chronicles the famed videogame plumbers, kart drivers, and squashers of turtles, is moving from its December 21 release date to April 7, which will take place on Easter weekend 2023.

I hear the move is just about optimizing the family audience for that film on that holiday. Meanwhile, Universal will return with DreamWorks Animation's long-gestating sequel, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, that pic.

Mario Bros is fighting Sony's untitled George Forman biopic and an untitled WB Event film.

According to reports, the Nintendo Super Mario videogame franchise has netted $30 billion.

Chris Pratt, who plays Mario in the Illumination film Minions: The Rise of Gru, will feature a screenplay from Matthew Fogel (The Lego Movie 2 and Next Summer's Minions: The Rise of Gru), while Charlie Day, Jack Black, Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen, and Kevin Michael Richardson are among the stars.

The film is directed by Chris Meledandri, the founder and CEO of Illumination, and by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo, and is now available by Universal Pictures.
