Fans have been adamant that her debut album, Night Time, My Time, was going to be released. In the meantime, Sky appears to be making moves behind closed doors as well. According to a spokesperson, she signed with a "global independent music publisher."
According to Variety Third Side Music's creative director/director of A&R, Bront Jane, was the one to sign Sky. So far, the publisher's roster includes artists including Courtney Barnett, Future Islands, and Kurt Vile. Sky is listed on the website as one of the publisher's clients, and in their "recently additions."
Sky is a professional artist who has always been a true visionary with her," Jane said of Variety. Im honored to welcome someone so unintentionally unique to the TSM family. If this is true, then this is good news in my book.
