'Eye To Eye' is a sequel to Lute's 2021 album, which features cozz, and discovering and recalling their diverse issues, from their traumatic experiences to their relationships with women, determining to do better than they have previously.
So it is appropriate that the theme of the video reflects the song's focus, putting both the rappers across from a therapist who assists them with those problems, such as Lute individually and Cozz. Each individual person reflects on his respective situation in a variety of situations, including a studio session, late-night visits with their respective partners, and meditating in a kitchen filled with flowers. As the video finishes, the users break the fourth wall, dapping each other up and hugging it out.
Both released records in 2021 (Cozz released his EP in December), but neither remained for too long, including sharing Dreamville's mixtape.
