Ryan Peppins, a Utah early enrollee, is on the transfer portal ...

The NCAA Transfer Portal is open to the Reigning Alabama Mr. Football winner Ryan Peppins.

Peppins, a 5-foot-8, 159 pounds receiver out of Thompson High School, is the 5-foot-8.

He was an early enrollee in Utah the next day.

He has arrived in the portal three months later.

Steve Bartle of 247 sports and Matt Zenith of On3 all reported the news. Peppins confirmed the information to AL.com.

In his high school career, Peppins helped Thompson win three consecutive Class 7A state championships.

Peppins scored 80 passes for 1,379 yards and 23 touchdowns during the Warriors' 13-1 game that culminated in a championship victory against Central-Phenix City. He was also Thompson's first Mr. Football player and the 40th Mr. Football overall. He was also named Back of the Year in Class 7.

It's what separates him. I'm an old school guy. You don't judge him by what he benches or how fast he runs. Yes, he was a driving force in everything we accomplished here. He would not be denied. He's a special little guy.

Before moving to Western Kentucky, Peppins proposed and signed with Utah.

Let's go on a new journey.
