Taco Bell is a Mexican restaurant, but it has readily offered menu items that aren't compatible with that traditional style.
This is the company that decided that a Dorito () - makes for an excellent taco. Yum Brands () - chain has been as willing to build its brand based on its Mountain Dew variations, including its many, many variations on tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and other Mexican favorites.
Taco Bell has used the term "think outside the bun." That line emphasized that McDonald's () -, Wendy's (), and Restaurant Brands International's () do not. However, these differences even stop at the proverbial bun.
The Taco Bell menu has no bun-based menu item or, please say, hamburgers. Unlike the French fry, the chain does not offer a variation of another fast-food style.
Is french fries appropriate for the Taco Bell menu? No, not in any way of traditional menu food, but a chain that used fried chicken as a bun does not seem to be fully bound by any idea of its menu.
Taco Bell has a new version of its Nacho Fries, which is in no way traditional, but should serve its audience.

Taco Bell Is Ready To Take a Backlash Against Nacho Fries
Taco Bell likes to combine the same ingredients and find innovative methods. Through its entire menu, it does this by mixing and matching meats and toppings.
In a nutshell, Taco Bell has designed its menu to assist individuals as quickly as possible. Its new Nacho Fries variant fits the same model (and Mexican Pizza didn't).
Steak White Hot Ranch Fries., a new limited-time offer, fits in perfectly with this model. It combines the existing Nacho Fries mostly with toppings that are already on the Taco Bell menu.
"The topped fry offering includes deep-fried fries topped with warm nacho cheese sauce, diced tomatoes, a three-cheese blend, reduced-fat sour cream, and a fresh White Hot Ranch Sauce (made with buttermilk and ghost chili peppers) said.
The fries may be ordered on their own or wrapped in a burrito. Taco Bell also has a vegetarian version, which is similar to steak.
Taco Bell Never Stops Changing Its Menu
Taco Bell has been the leader of the LTO, which, while, Wendy's, and have added and subtracting limited-time offers. It's admirable to experiment with new ideas and is extremely willing to push boundaries.
Even after losing its menu due to the epidemic, it has done that steadily.
"We're clearing space on our menu to create a more effective Taco Bell experience," the chain said at the time.
A simple menu did not allow the company to do any other thing.
"While some old favorites may retire, the continued enthusiasm from our Food Innovation Team is non-stop," Taco Bell said.
"While change is difficult, a simplified menu and innovation process will leave room for fresh fan favorites, continued progress in categories such as plant-based diets, and even opportunities for the return of some classics on a limited-time basis."
Nacho Fries has been one of the pioneers in the business over the past few years, and it's logical to anticipate additional developments.
