Sault Has Just Released A New Air-Audio Album That Was Nowhere Called ...

The whole process has come with a sense of mystique, so leaving a new album out of nowhere should surprise nobody. They were released two albums in 2019 and 2020, including one from Untitled (Black Is). We know that the group is largely the brainchild of British producer Inflo, who began recording vocals from Sol and Monica Young (aka Kid Sister) but Air, the latest addition to the group's rapidly expanding discography, does not sound like the others.

The group changed every post from their Instagram page and then started fresh with a cover and five more tracks of the album. Everything on Air feels incredible cinematic, almost like it's earmarked as a soundtrack for a game that needs to be made. At the end of the fifth track, "Time is Precious" features spaghetti western strings as an embellishment, but the whole album then comes across as an insignificant step. It's all worth the effort, but
