Zeriah Beason, an Oregon State receiver who hasn't practiced since the last week, has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
The Beavers' third-year sophomore completed 20 games and started 13 games during his first two years in Oregon State.
After spring practice began, Beason is the first player to depart the program for the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-old Texas man showed promise early in his career, starting five games as a true freshman. Beason had a breakout camp last August, and was included on several preseason all-conference teams and watch lists. However, the promises continued, as Beason had only 20 receptions for 236 yards and a touchdown in 13 games last season.
