Is Jonathan Young a contender for 'Survivor,' or is he just willing to pay him in eggs? ...

Can Jonathan Young of Gulf Shores win this thing? And wait a minute, the big dude from Gulf Shores eats how many eggs at a table?

Several people were hearing about both topics, including some of the long-running reality show's veterans.

Young began the task once more in beast mode to push his teammates through the physical component of a challenge, giving them a lead in the puzzle section. He has a lot of respect on Twitter.

Rocksroy Bailey, who sat out the challenge, might be overheard saying "wow" and "holy schnikes" and "I'm so impressed with him." Rick Devens, who made it to the final four in "Survivor: Edge of Extinction," was right there with him. "Rocksroy is looking at Jonathan as he is all of us."

"Survivor: Samoa," the infamous runner-up of "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" and "Survivor: Redemption Island," has revealed that "OMG Jonathan is by far the best athlete to ever be survivor!!." "Survivor: Samoa" has gone on to Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" and "Survivor: Redemption Island." "N)obody even comes close! "All!!"

Every outpouring of love comes with a guaranteed backlash, and some have gotten tired of the way Jeff Probst praises Young.

The challenge win gave Young and his teammates a break from Applebee's. While he said two incredible things. The first was that: "I'm twice as big as everybody else out here. Twelve days of not eating, and I'm hungry. So today, I'm eating like a king." So my average meal was 18 eggs, nine pieces of cheese, and grits. So I was in heaven. I ate as much as I could."

Twitter outcry about revealing Young's refrigerator: A.

Is Jonathan eating 18 eggs during a meal?, winner of the previous season. So far this season, Young had been compared to Aquaman, Captain America, and Thor. Casupanan was among the folks who now compare him to Gaston from Disney's animated "Beauty and the Beast."

Every morning I ate four dozen eggs to help me get large/ Now that I'm growing I eat five dozen eggs, says Jonathan #Survivor.

The second incredible thing Young said was that he was going to attempt to lay low. Photosessions and.

The whole process of the episode shifted when a twist robbed Young and his teammates of their hard-won immunity and left most of them as targets for elimination. Young went from security to being the most important target on the shooting range.

Survivor: Tocantins and Survivor: Cambodia are all examples of Jonathan being voted out of the #survivor bc of this hourglass twist.

"Jonathan is on the verge of learning that winning in the new era of #Survivor is unjustified."

Some have predicted Young would be a "merge boot" since the tribes were divided, thus that once the whole group was eliminated, Young would be considered as a threat best eliminated quickly. Wednesday's episode brought that exact point to pass: It was the first time the whole group had voted, Young had been stripped of immunity, and would-be alliance leader Romeo Escobar wanted him gone in the worst way.

Omar Zaheer came through in a masterful way, deflecting most of those votes into a blindside of Lydia Meredith. Zaheer has been quiet till now, but that play made him look like a power broker.

Don't delay youngster's success if you pay attention. You've noticed him avoiding alpha-male stereotypes. When his strength is an asset he steps up and when it's not he steps back. He has a knack for guiding teamwork without being fussy about it. He's capable of holding his tongue when he's irritated.

Despite his ability to establish friendships that don't seem political, he charmed both Bailey and Mike Turner in this one episode. Betrayal is codified into the DNA of "Survivor," and sooner or later every relationship becomes an asset to be spent. So far, Young has maintained his position on the right side.

Is he able to go all the way? Since he survived the merge, it appears he might make the final four. But as the cast becomes smaller, it will be harder for him to not become the biggest target.

For every day he stays in the game, some very tired chickens have a break.
