Deadline has signed on for a role in the drama from ', according to the cast. He'll also feature Ed Harris, Vanessa Hudgens, Finn Wittrock, Jack Dylan Grazer, August Blanco Rosenstein, and Lily Rabe, who have previously announced roles.

Rabe and Hamish Linklater's feature directorial debut is inspired by Chuck Klosterman's New York Times bestseller novel of the same name. Located in Owl, there, you will not find cable or pop culture, but there, there, a downtown with a first-rate Chevrolet dealership, three bars, and a new high-school English teacher, who nourishes the lives of the locals, just in time for a white-out blizzard.

The script for the Stage 6 film was developed by Linklater during the Sundance Institute creative gathering and Talent Forum. Bettina Barrow and Rabe are producing for Kill Claudio Productions, alongside Rebecca Green and Linklater. Laura Rister, Lee Broda, and Joel Michaely are both executive producers, with Tom McLeod as the co-executive producer, and T Bone Burnett is supporting the project. Three Point Capital is partnering with Esme Grace Media and COIL to develop the funding

Golding, who is best known for his role as Nick Young in Warner Bros.' Crazy Rich Asians, will also be seen in Carrie Cracknell's action adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion, with Dakota Johnson, Suki Waterhouse, and Richard E. Grant; Camille Delamarre's action pic Assassin Club, with Sam Neill, and Noomi Rapace; and the Paramount animated film The Tiger's Apprentice. He has also appeared in television shows including Snake Eyes

CAA, Megan Silverman Management, and Goodman, Genow, and Schenkman are all accused of golding.
