Like a tense fired-off, Warner Bros. Discovery's aim appears to be in line with each other. Joker's success was built on a documentary that was completely free of connecting to other DC Comics films. Same with The Batman, which currently operates in its own separate Bat-universe that is unburdened by whatever happens in the other DC Comics films, with Ben Affleck's departure as the main Batman.

After he's experienced legal difficultes, the Keaton/Batman transition is being anchored by, whose future at Warner Bros. has been reportedly put on pause.
