There are few things that draw attention more than, and this week, a young man offered a peek at his story. While talking at Yale University recently, Evan asked the Texas senator a question that appeared to be straightforward: Assuming it would end global hunger,?
While Cruz was pleasantly surprised by the question, which rendered him absolutely speechless, Kimmel sees this engaging conversation as proof that the future might be in safe hands after all. "They say they're lazy and entitled and too sensitive. But then a young man like this comes around, and it gives you real hope for this country."
While trying to improve, his co-host, political pundit and Yale grad Michael Knowles, negotiated one for the team, and decided to put Evan down a stalk by conservative-sencking that, "Like a typical left-wing undergraduate, you are engaging in consequentialist ethics," before declaring "absolutely not."
Kimmel suspects that, if Cruz had answered and been honest, "Only if that man was Donald Trump," he considered this question "extremely beneficial," especially since "Ted Cruz can hing his jaw like a rat snake."
