Elon Musk, who tweeted $52.40 per share today (April 14) has gained one of the most followings on the social media platform over the years owing to his musings, he claims, while on the toilet.
When Musk's Twitter board seat was lacking, he made an offer to take the company private.

July 2018: A row with a cave diver
On Twitter, Musk called Vernon Unsworth, a British diver who rescued 12 children trapped in a cave in Thailand, a "pedo." Unsworth, however, has won the trial.
After his attacks on Unsworth, analyst Gene Munster is adamantly enlisted help from Bloomberg, who is urging him to take a "Twitter sabbatical."
The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit against Musk in September 2018.
In a famous tweet, Musk claimed that he had the opportunity to take Tesla private at $420 per share, causing the company's stock price to increase by 6%. In reality, a deal was far from certain, and Musk was sued for securities fraud.
Musk and Tesla have reached a $40 million settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which requires a corporate lawyer to approve tweets with detailed information for Tesla investors. Musk is to take the leave of his "Twitter sitter."
Tesla members reportedly talked about his use of the social media platform as well as his dependency on Ambien, a sleep medication, which he had with his Twitter habit.

Musk reclaimed 7% of his Tesla stock on November 8 after completing a Twitter survey. The majority of respondents said yes and the company was the one who will cover a tax charge.
Tesla was subpoenaed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Musk has been sued by the Supreme Court for this request.
Musk trolls a college student in January 2022
Although Musk has claimed to view Twitter as the "de facto public town square," he tried to shut down one account started by 19-year-old Jack Sweeney, who was looking into the billionaire's private jet. In a direct message, Musk will shut it.
Sweeney has kept the account up.

Twitter has offered Musk a board seat in April 2022.
After becoming Twitter's largest shareholder, the company offered him a board seat. Musk then enlisted additional ideas for the platform, including adding an edit button and turning Twitter's San Francisco office into a shelter for the unintentional.
He rejected the seat and instead attempted to buy the company.
