Zeriah Beason, an Oregon State receiver who hasn't been in spring training for the past week, has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

The Beavers' third-year sophomore played in 20 games and started 13 games during his first two years in Oregon State.

Since spring practice started, Beason is the first player to leave the program for the transfer portal.

The 6-foot high school freshman showed promise early in his career, starting five games as a true freshman. Beason had a breakout camp last August, and landed on several preseason all-conference teams and watch lists. However, the promises remained unfilled, as Beason had only 20 receptions for 236 yards and a touchdown in 13 games last season.
