The Man From Toronto, which stars and. has inherited the worldwide rights, excluding China.

The streamer will release the action comedy from director Patrick Hughes later this year. The acquisition is inspired by a first look agreement between Netflix and Sony in 2021, which prospectively appeared on Aug. 12, 2022.

After the world's deadliest assassin, known as the Man from Toronto, and a New York City screw-up run into one other at an Airbnb, The Man From Toronto depicts a case of a wrong identity.

A confrontation of personalities and a shambles ensues. Robbie Fox adapted the script from a story by Fox and Jason Blumenthal.

Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode, Jencarlos Canela, and Ellen Barkin are among the actors performing in the ensemble. Harrelson has resigned from Jason Statham in The Man From Toronto as he joins Hart in the Columbia Pictures project.

Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch are all working, while Bill Bannerman, Aaron L. Gilbert, and Jason Cloth have all been working on the executive producer lists.

Variety was the first to reveal the deal to send The Man from Toronto to Netflix.
