Neon has dropped the first teaser trailer for Cronenberg's new drama, Crimes of the Future, and it's packed with wild body-horror and nightmare imagery, which the Canadian filmmaker of The Fly, Eastern Promises, and Dead Ringers has come to expect.
The one-minute teaser features strange and yet immemorably disturbing scenes with stars from Crimes of the Future and Lea Seydoux.
The film, which will feature in the 75th next month, is set in a near-future where humans are being subjected to a series of technological transformations and changes to adapt to the world's new synthetic environment. According to Mortensen, Stewart is an investigator from the National Organ Registry who reveals their movements.
