The 5G Signal Will Cover The Entire North Face Of Mount Everest By The End Of April
The Chinese Telecommunications Company, the world's largest mobile operator, said it had installed three stations for transmitting a 5G signal in the area of the base camp on the slope of Everest (Chomolungma) at an altitude of more than 5,300 meters. This is the Northern camp located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
By April 25, the company intends to build two more 5G stations at an altitude of more than 6,500 meters. Thus, by the end of the month, the 5G signal should cover the entire Northern slope of the highest mountain in the world, from the bottom to the top.
5G technologies provide higher bandwidth compared to the 4G standard, making communication more accessible and faster.
