Kazakhstan Produced 1.349 Million Barrels Of Oil In September
Kazakhstan's average daily oil production in September was 1.349 million barrels, which corresponds to the country's obligations under the OPEC+ deal, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic reported.
In June, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic reported that Kazakhstan fulfilled the agreement to reduce oil production by 71% in May, but in August and September it compensates for this in complete compliance with the agreement by an additional reduction in production.
"In September 2020, according to preliminary data, the average daily oil production excluding condensate was 1.349 million barrels per day. According to the Ministry's estimates, Kazakhstan has fully fulfilled its obligations for September under the OPEC+ agreement," the Ministry said in response to the Agency's request.
As noted in the report, "as for compensation for oil overproduction, the countries participating in the agreement decided to extend the compensation period until the end of this year."
