Princess Eugenie Is Pregnant: Elizabeth II's Granddaughter Announced The Happy Event On Instagram
Princess Eugenie is not one of the working members of the Royal family, so she is free to make announcements about changes in her personal life as she wants — without the Protocol and permission of the Palace. On September 25, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II posted a picture of baby Slippers with cubs on her Instagram account, captioning the photo: "Jack and I are so looking forward to the beginning of 2021." The message is clear — Eugenia and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, will soon become parents.
With the upcoming addition to the family, the couple has already been congratulated by relatives. Buckingham Palace issued an official statement: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, are very happy about this news."
Eugenie and Jack's wedding took place on October 12, 2018, in Windsor. Before that, they had been dating for nine years. Brooksbank proposed to his beloved at the top of a volcano in Nicaragua.
