According to police, alcohol poisoning caused a female fatal crash in Mecosta County ...

MECOSTA COUNTY, MI A lady was hurt in a car crash Thursday morning.

A 45-year-old Rodney woman was driving on Bullhead Road near West Chippewa Drive when she lost control of her vehicle on ice and was rolling the vehicle, according to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office.

According to police, she was taken to Big Rapids Spectrum Health Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to authorities, alcohol was a factor in her crash.
