Rosneft Discussed The Possibilities Of New Joint Projects With China's CNPC
Rosneft and the China National Oil and Gas Corporation (CNPC) held the third meeting of the joint coordination Committee (JCC), where they assessed the possibilities of implementing new joint projects, the press service of the Russian company reported.
Rosneft and CNPC signed an agreement on the creation of the CCM in May 2017 during the official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China. The Committee was created for cooperation between companies in several strategic areas, including cooperation in the field of exploration and development of oil and gas fields, oil refining and petrochemicals, trade in oil and petroleum products, and others.
"During the last meeting, the Committee participants summed up the results of the work done discussed the prospects for cooperation for the coming year, and also assessed the possibilities of implementing new joint projects," the report says.
The next CCM meeting is scheduled for 2021.
