Police claim a burglar stole chainsaws and cash from an auto shop in Jackson County ...

JACKSON COUNTY, MI Police said an automotive shop was robbed of equipment and cash Wednesday night.

Officers from the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety responded to a commercial alarm at Performance Automotive Northwest, located at 2710 Airport Road in Blackman Township on February 16th.

Officers discovered that someone had been forced to enter the building upon arrival.

Police said several chainsaws and an unknown amount of cash were stolen.

According to surveillance footage from the scene, the suspect was a man who dragged a red Dodge pickup truck with a minor visible crack on the outer left side of its bed.
