Best Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases

Best Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases ...

Patrick Holland of CNET calls the "first foldable you may actually want to buy."

With that in mind, I've put together a list of the best Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases.

As competition as ever, the number of cases made for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is relatively small, so fewer options are available. But sometimes the options are lesser, given that features, grip, and uncompromising style are key to finding the right Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 case.

Is Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases the same as the hinge?

The majority of Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases come in two pieces, with only a few cases covering the hinge or offering hinge protection.

Are there screen protectors for the Galaxy Z Flip 3?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 isn't designed for screens that can be used to provide extra protection.

Are there wireless charging in most cases?

Most of the three cases on this list are wirelessly charged, but those that feature an integrated kickstand may require you to remove the case.

Spigen's Thin Fit is available in three colors, and features a two-piece design that features a soft-to-the-touch finish. It's a lightweight case that looks good on your phone. There's no hinge protection.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the most protective clear case I've ever tried, although there's no hinge protection. Grip this Flip cover, and try it out. It's sold out at Speck, but it's available on Amazon.

Samsung's Silicone Cover with Ring is nice to wear, but it's sturdy, and has a built-in ring that prevents you from dropping the phone. You can clip the ring to a lanyard and wear it around your neck.

The case has several colors.

Gear4's Bridgetown case is similar to Spigen's Tough Armor case (see below). It is also a tough case that comes in black and has some nice hinge protection. One of the best protective cases for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, I only wish it was available in more colors, or a clear version

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is made in only two cases: the Thin Flex and Symmetry Flex. Alas, the Thin Flex is more affordable and is hard to get off your phone once you have it on. But, the Symmetry Flex is a translucent case that shows off your phone a bit while providing good drop protection.

It's expensive but thin, but it's not as if you get it in light colors like mustard, but it makes your phone easy to spot. Samsung has discounted it to as low as $40.

The Samsung Ring case has the same soft-to-the-touch finish as the Ring case, but instead of a ring it features a strap. You slide your hand under the strap (and behind the phone) which gives you a little protection for the hinge when you fold up the phone.

The strap does just that, but if you use this case, it might be helpful to other people. It comes in several colors.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the only Spigen case that has a protective latch for the hinge.

As far as protection cases go, it's one of the best and is lacking an integrated kickstand. I also kind of wish it came in more colors. Black is the only option for now.

The Crystal Clear case is a part of Spigen's Air Skin case line, which has a thin clear case that provides basic protection. It's a little adhesive that ensures the case doesn't slip off your phone as you put it on -- and the dust particles will appear if you have an all-black phone like mine.

This Aramid fiber is essentially Kevlar, so this case is durable but lightweight. It has a soft-to-the-touch finish that is comfortable to grip. A lot of people prefer this case, although it looks simple and it's expensive.

Spigen sells an exterior screen protector for the Z Flip 3 outside the box, which works great on both lenses and the back display. (Not all Z Flip 3 cases' cutouts around the back display are the same dimensions.)

The Z Flip 3 exterior screen has been integrated into Zagg's line of screen protectors, though it's somewhat smaller than the screen protectors it has been used for much larger screens.

This Vego is a good choice if you are looking for an affordable case with an integrated ring that converts into a kickstand. It sells under other brands on Amazon. It can't tell you how it will hold up over time, but it has some nice features, including a cover that slides up to protect the phone's camera and it'll stick to a magnetic car mount.

You may save 30% on certain color choices at the moment (you may save the blue version for a little more than $11 before tax).
