Earlier, the Swiss authorities decided to start gradually removing restrictive measures imposed in connection with the coronavirus from April 27.
According to the country's leadership, the measures introduced have borne fruit, and the Confederation has managed to reduce the spread of the disease and avoid overcrowding in hospitals. The lifting of bans will be carried out in three stages – from April 27, May 11 and June 8.
The restrictive measures were introduced by the government on March 13 and strengthened on March 16. At the same time, the authorities refused to completely close the country with a strict quarantine, as was done in neighboring Italy and France.
