The Academy has established a Women in Sports Committee in order to improve the accessibility and participation of young women in sport.
The IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida has been named as the new members of Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks co-founder, retired pro skier Lindsey Vonn and ABC's Good Morning America co-anchor.
Cari Champion, a former pro tennis player Lindsay Davenport, and Michele Tafoya, a news reporter for NBC's Sunday Night Football television program, among the other committee members.
"We are humbled and honored to welcome these amazing women to our Women in Sports Committee. They have worked tirelessly to not only navigate their own paths, but to provide the groundwork for those who follow them, according to Brent Richard, the president of the IMG Academy.
IMG Academy has teamed up with sports leagues, federations, television networks, and rightsholders to produce live sporting activities.
