In the Eagles' wild-card defeat to the urn, McCown played last two years ago.

McCown returned to the Texans in November of 2020, but did not appear in a game. McCown spent the early part of the 2020 season on the Eagles, earning him the opportunity to stay in his home in Texas because of the epidemic rather than report to Philadelphia.

In March of 2021, Houston McCown was inaugurated.

McCown has been on 12 teams since entering the league in 2002, including the Jets in 2017 and 2018. He set career highs in passing yards (2,926) and touchdown passes (18) while going 5-8 as the Jets begin their QB in 2017.
