Fun facts about the new Top 50 | What are the latest trends? Is North or South Jersey having more talent? Who made the Next 30?

We have concluded the, a list of New Jersey's top football recruits regardless of whether or not we are in grade. There are a couple of things that are clearly captured throughout the list, particularly considering how many recruits are from North Jersey versus South? Which high school has the most selections versus private? Which college has the most commitments of players on the list? The new Top 50 is a fun show.

Eight signees are on the list, including Hun (Princeton, New Jersey) four-star offensive tackle and All-American Jacob Allen, who signed last month. Unlike Syracuse, Purdue, Pitt, and Nebraska each have two.

The Top 50 is comprised of 31 seniors, 15 juniors, three sophomores, and one freshman (Hun LB Kamar Archie).

There are also 12 defensive backs, 11 offensive linemen, and ten defensive linemen on the list, compared to the three positions listed above.

No fullbacks or specialists were listed on the list.

The majority of the players are from North Jersey (30), while South Jersey and Central Jersey (10) each have a combined number.

Sixteen people on the list play in one of the "Big Six" schools, which include St. Peter's Prep, Bergen Catholic, St. Joseph (Mont.), Don Bosco, DePaul, and Paramus Catholic.

St. Peter's Prep has more players on the list than any other school with seven players. Hun has six, while Bergen Catholic has five and Irvington has four, the most of any public school. Five teams have two, including Blair, DePaul, Red Bank Catholic, and public schools East Orange and Pennsauken.

Thirty-two people on the list are non-public, while 18 are non-public.
