The First School Choice Fair in New Jersey will bring Families a variety of learning options

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Jan. 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 30 private, public, and online schools will showcase their offerings and share their information with families at the inaugural event.

Several hundred community members are expected to attend, including parents shop schools at the event, face painting, balloon art, and a photobooth.

On "School Fair Saturday," the school choice fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that same day, large school fairs will take place in more than a dozen major cities in the United States, including Las Vegas and Colorado Springs.

These school fairs will feature more than 26,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

"This is an excellent opportunity for parents and children to meet with great schools, learn about exciting, excellent education programs and have fun with other parents and kids," said Steve Looney. "We are really excited to provide a special opportunity for everyone to attend our first national school choice week school fair."

The E3, a research and policy organization that is aiming to bridge educational gaps in New Jersey, in partnership with the Association of American Educators (AAE) and the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association (NJPCSA).

St. Peter's University is located at 2641 John F. Kennedy Blvd., in Jersey City.

The National School Choice Week shines a spotlight on effective K-12 education options for children, focusing equally on traditional public, charter, magnet, and online, school, and home education options. Every January, participants plan tens of thousands of events such as school fairs and open houses to increase awareness about school choice across all 50 states.
